Item Introduction
Ryan217 is an elegant-looking but deadly katana. The blade is made of differentially-hardened 1095 carbon steel and finely-polished revealing a beautiful natural hamon. Being made of 1095, this blade is capable of handling hard targets. The tsuka is hardwood with genuine rayskin panels in red lacquer and wrapped with black, synthetic silk ito. The fittings are all made of brass and have an intricate, ryu or dragon theme. The saya is made of hardwood with red varnish and inlayed with mother-of-pearl design. The saya has a clear lacquer coat to give it a glossy finish. The koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri are made of black, buffalo horn.
