Imperfect fusion or welding of the different steel types on the blade can cause the blade to delaminate or split. This katana is differentially hardened and has a visible hamon. The area between hamon and shinogi is hazuya polished, so it looks differently. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of iron, antiqued and dragon motif. The tsuka is made of hardwood and wrapped with one-piece genuine rayskin and synthetic silk ito. The saya is made of hardwood, with a design of dragon. It's painted in glossy black, koiguchi, kurigata and koriji are polished buffalo horns.

Bruce Lee was born in the United States in 1940 but was raised in Hong Kong and trained in kung fu and many other martial arts discipline at a young age. He was also an adept dancer. Having been exposed to many forms of martial arts and philosophy, he formed his own discipline which he named Jeet Kune Do. Lee moved to the US and started as a supporting actor in movies until he grew in popularity and started making and leading his own movies.
