The blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel and clay tempered, beautiful hamon is clearly visible. The blade is full tang, it's fixed into the tsuka with 2 bamboo nails. The tsuka and saya are made of hardwood, painted in black. The white cherry blossoms are drawn by hand. The sword is designed for light cutting.
