The blades are honsanmai structure, full tang. 1095 High carbon steel is the cutting edge, folded steel is the jacket steel. Clay tempered hamon is clearly visible. After coloring the steel grains are more obvious on the red blade. The baldes are unokubi zukuri, the thickness on the back becomes thinner from the half of the blade towards the tip, but the back turns to thick near the kissaki.The tsubas are made of iron.
