Item Introdution
SGL7021 is a decorative replica of the Sword of Goujian which was found in 1965 in Hubei, China during an archeological survey in Jingzhou, Hubei. The sword was found very sharp and in good condition despite being in a water-logged condition for over 2000 years. The original sword was made of an alloy of copper with intricate designs. On the blade is inscribed "Belonging to King Goujian of Yue, Made for his personal use".
To stay true to the original blade, the Ryansword version is made of bronze. Though bronze can be sharpenes, it lacks the property to retain an edge and sustain heavy use. The blade is unsharpened and is for display purposes only.
