This sword is a replica of one of Emperor Kang Xi's swords. Kang Xi is the fourth emperor of Qing dynasty (1636-1912), he was the emperor who had been on the throne for 61 years, the longest time in China history.
The blade of this sword is made of folded steel, it's full tang and hand-forged. Wire-brushed grains are clearly visible. It has a blood groove running from the handguard to the tip, blood groove area is folded differently so the grains are different. The fittings are brass and hand-made, plated in gold.
