The blade is honsanmai lamination, 1095 high carbon steel is the cutting edge, folded steel is used as jacket steel. The grains of folded steel are clearly visible. The blade shape is kiriha-zukuri, the cutting edge is with niku, the blade is suitable for heavy cutting. The tsuka and saya are made of rosewood, wood grains and color is natural. Fuchi, kashira, koiguchi and kojiri are made of brass. The tsuba is made of iron.
