Ryan817 is a replica of the sword of Capt. Nathan Algren, the main character in the 2003 American film "The Last Samurai". The plot of the movie centers on Nathan Algren, a captain in the US Cavalry Regiment who is constantly haunted by the atrocities committed by his group during the American-Indian wars. He was recruited by the Japanese to help train the modernized Japanese Imperial Army and quell a rebellion of traditional samurais. Capt. Algren ended up embracing the way of life and principles of the samurai and then fighting with them against the Japanese government.

Ryansword's replica of Capt. Algren's katana has a shinogi zukuri blade in honsanmai lamination. The edge is made of 1095 high carbon steel and the sides made of folded 1060 steel. The blade is differentially-hardened with a beautiful, natural hamon and hada. It has a bohi running from the habaki to the kissaki, making the blade lighter. The tsuka is made of hardwood with white, rayskin panels and wrapped with black, synthetic silk ito. The tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are made of glossy, black, zinc alloys while the habaki and seppa are made of brass. The saya is matte black. True to the movie, the blade has a laser etched kanji. In the movie, it was said that the kanji means "I belong to the warrior, in who the old ways have joined the new.", however some argue that the kanji really means "Since the ancient times to the present, God is with those who serve with dignity and honor."

Ryan1284 is a long-version replica of the sword Yamato from the video game series Devil May Cry. Based on the plot from the game, Yamato was bestowed to the character Vergil by his father, the legendary dark knight Sparda. Yamato has innate demonic powers which compliments with its wielder's power. Ryan1284 is a katana with a shinogi zukuri blade made of through-hardened 1095 high carbon steel with abrasived hamon. It has blood groove or bohi on each side of the blade. The blade can be used on hard targets. The tsuka has a hardwood core with black, genuine rayskin panels and wrapped with white, synthetic silk ito. The fittings are made of brass. The koiguchi and kojiri are also made of brass. The saya is made of hardwood with a matte black finish and yellow synthetic silk sageo. It does not have a kurikata but has one ashi or hanger to secure the sword to the waist.

Ryan848 is a white-themed sword. The tsuba, habaki, seppa and fuchi are all painted white. Half of the tsuka has white rayskin panels and wrapped with white, synthetic, silk ito while the other half is polished hardwood with glossy, white paint from which a trinket bell and a white cord hangs. The saya is also made of hardwood with glossy, white paint. The blade is of honsanmai lamination with a 1095 high carbon steel edge and a folded steel skin. It is differentially-hardened with a visible, natural hamon.

The Walking Dead is a popular television series based on a comic book series of the same name. The series which started airing in 2010, features a post-zombie apocalypse world where humans struggle to survive against zombie attacks and aggression from other humans.  

Michonne is a character in the series, well known for her katana which she uses to defend herself and her companions from zombies and other aggressors.

Ryan897 is a functional replica of the katana in the series. The blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel and clay tempered. Beautiful hamon is clearly visible on shiny blade.  The saya is made of hardwood wrapped in brown, real leather and fitted with an adjustable leather sling. The tsuka and the upper half of the saya is wrapped with white, synthetic leather. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of brass.
