$0.00This sword was presented to Central Military Commission of China as reverence to the People’s Army by Longquan Government. It’s now exhibited in the interview hall of Central Military Commission of China. The fittings are elaborately designed: axes on the pommel, dragons on the handguard and tiger in the midde of the saya. Inscribed bamboo-slips are on the top end of the scabbard, "the Art of War" is engraved on it. Water, mountains and the Great Wall are the patterns at the end o the scabbard. -

$0.00In 2008 Chinese Ambassador in Oman presented a Xuan Wu Sword to Qabus Bin Said, the King of Oman. The sword was made by Shen Xinpei who is the Arts and Crafts Master of China. The fitings are hand-carved, made of brass and plated with real gold. The handguard is Yin Yang fish design, the fittings use four gods design. Four Gods are the mythological creatures in the Chinese constellations. They are the Azure Dragon(Qing Long) of the East, the Vermilion Bird(Zhu Que) of the South, the White Tiger(Bai Hu) of the West, and the Black Turtle(Xuan Wu) of the North. Each one of them represents a direction and a season. Xuan Wu is a turtle ebtwined together with a snake, in ancient China, the tortoise and the snake were thought to be spiritual creatures symbolizing longevity. It took 6 months to make the sword. -
