$207.00Ryan1322 is a katana with a shinogi zukurigeometry. Its blade is made of folded 1095 high carbon steel. The blade has no groove and the folding of the blade during forging produces a very distinct and beautiful raindrop pattern. This is different from the appearance of the usual folded steel which has a wavy hada. The hada on this blade looks like irregularly-shaped ripples.
The tsuka is made of hardwood wrapped with red, rayskin panels and black synthetic silk ito. The red saya is hardwood with grooves and has a buffalo horn koiguchi and black-brown sageo.

$221.00Ryan854 is a katana with a blade made of differentially-hardened 1095 high carbon steel. The blade is of shinogi zukuri geometry with bo hi and a natural hamon. The bohi makes the blade lighter without compromising its strenght and it also produces a distinct sound when the blade is swung properly. The tsuka is made of hardwood with black real, rayskin panels and wrapped in black, synthetic silk ito. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of copper and feature a fan theme. The saya is wood with a glossy, black finish and inlaid with mother-of-pearl (shells) depicting a bird perched on a branch. The koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri are made of black buffalo horn.

Double Edged Katana Little Crow Style Kogarasu-Maru Clay Tempered Sharp Medium Cutting--Ryan1040
$235.00This katana is forged in one of the less common forms of Japanese swords which is the kissaki moroha zukuri. The upper half of the sword is double-edged and ends in a symmetrical kissaki. It features two blade grooves, a bo-hi or a wide groove and a so-hi or a narrow groove. This blade geometry and with the added grooves result in a light and agile blade. Natural hamon can be seen in the entire length of its edges as a result of differential hardening of its 1095 carbon steel blade. All fittings are made of brass with a dragon motif. The saya is made of Chinese redwood with polished, bufallo horn koiguchi, kurigata and kojiri. The kissaki moroha zukuri is an old blade form and may have been a transition between the Japanese double-edged sword and the tachi. This sword is fully customisable -
