Katana Honsanmai Clay Tempered Hazuya Polish Hand-Engraved Blade--Ryan1378
$499.00The blade is honsanmai lamination, 1095 high carbon steel is the cutting edge,folded steel is the jacket steel. It is differentially hardened and has a visible hamon. The area between hamon and cutting edge is hazuya polished, so it looks differently. The dragon and flowers are engraved by hands. The tsuka is made of hardwood, it's wrapped with one-piece genuine rayskin and synthetic silk ito. The saya is made of hardwood and partially wrapped with unpolished genuine rayskin. The koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata are polished buffalo horns. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of brass.

$480.00This sword is a beautiful, custom-built Osoraku wakizashi in aikuchi koshirae. It's name is Yamabushi, that means mountain warrior monks. Yamabushi sword was designed by Mr.Stacy Miller, and Ryansword made it in September 2018. Aikuchi is a type of Japanese sword mounting wherein there is no tsuba. The blade is an osoraku zukuri where the kissaki is more than half the entire blade length. The blade is made in honsanmai lamination with an edge made of 1095 steel for higher edge retention and the sides made of folded steel to give the blade a nice hada. It is clay-tempered and hazuya-polished to highlight the beautiful, natural hamon. The blade has a detailed, hand-engraved dragon horimono. The hourglass-shaped tsuka core is made of white hardwood and fully-wrapped with black-lacquered samegawa. The habaki is made of copper with a kanji engraving while the fuchi and kashira are made of blackened iron. The saya is made of hardwood with a unique oar-shaped tip and with a mitsudomoe design. Fuchi, kashira, koiguchi, kurigata, kojiri and Kaeritsuno are all made of real buffalo horns.

Katana Folded 1095 High Carbon Steel Hand-Engraved Dragon--Ryan1321
$459.00This is a beautiful katana with a shobu zukuri blade made of folded 1095 high carbon steel. Being made of 1095 steel means that this sword can be used on heavy targets without compromising its edge. Adding to the grain pattern or hada on the blade brought by the folding process is a beautiful horimono or engraving on both sides of the blade near the habaki.
The tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are made of cast brass with beautiful designs. The habaki and seppa are made of brass as well. The tsuka is wrapped with real rayskin in white color and black, synthetic silk ito. The black saya is made of hardwood with dragon engraving and with buffalo horn koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri.

$449.00Wakizashi are considered a samurai's side arm and supplemental weapon. It is effective weapon when fighting in confined spaces as typical Japanese dwellings had low ceiling. Samurai warriors often sleep with their wakizashi and carry them even when inside castles, residences unlike the katana that they sometimes had to leave to a servant. The use of the wakizashi though was not limited to the samurai as merchants, craftsmen and other individuals sometimes carry it for protection.
Ryan1276 is one of our high-end works, it has shinogi zukuri with niku blade in honsanmai lamination. The edge is made of 1095 high carbon steel and the sides made of folded 1060 steel. The blade is differentially-hardened with a beautiful, natural hamon and hada. The tsuka is made of hardwood, fully wrapped with one-piece genuine rayskin and black, synthetic silk ito. The saya is also fully wrapped with genuine, unpolished rayskin. Black buffalo horns are used as kojiri, koiguchi and kurigata. The tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki are copper with dragon motif.

Shihozumi Clay Tempered Katana Hazuya Polish Double Bohi--Ryan1357
$440.00This katana is intricately forged in the shihozume lamination structure. The edge is made of 1095 high carbon steel which has high hardness while the sides are made of folded steel which has high flexibility and has a beautiful grain pattern or hada. Iron is used to form the softer core of the blade. The shihozume lamination is a labor-intensive forging technique that requires high skill level on the part of the swordsmith. Imperfect fusion or welding of the different steel types on the blade can cause the blade to delaminate or split.
This katana is differentially hardened and has a visible hamon. The area between hamon and spine is hazuya polished, so it looks differently. There're double blood grooves on each side of the blade. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of copper with silver decoration. The tsuka is made of hardwood and wrapped with one-piece genuine rayskin and black leather cord. The saya is made of hardwood and painted in glossy black, shells are used to decorate the saya.

$439.00Dao refers to a variety of single-edged swords common throughout Chinese history and is one of the four traditional weapons together with the staff (gun), spear (qiang) and the double-edged sword (jian). The dao has many variants which evolved throughout the various dynastic rule in China with e#ach variant suited for the intended battlefield use. The style of dao which proliferated during the Tang Dynasty (7th - 10th century A.D.) was a sword which was straight along blade's entire length.
Ryan408 Tang Dao has a blade made of 1095 high carbon steel, it's differentially-hardened and designed for chopping and taking on hard targets. A natural hamon is visible in its narrow, cutting edge. All the fittings on this sword are made of brass. The scabbard is made of hardwood and fully-wrapped with rayskin with a smooth, lacquer finish. The handle is designed to be held with either two hands or single-handedly. The handle, from which a tassel hangs, has a wooden core and fully-wrapped with colored rayskin.
