$480.00This sword is a beautiful, custom-built Osoraku wakizashi in aikuchi koshirae. It's name is Yamabushi, that means mountain warrior monks. Yamabushi sword was designed by Mr.Stacy Miller, and Ryansword made it in September 2018. Aikuchi is a type of Japanese sword mounting wherein there is no tsuba. The blade is an osoraku zukuri where the kissaki is more than half the entire blade length. The blade is made in honsanmai lamination with an edge made of 1095 steel for higher edge retention and the sides made of folded steel to give the blade a nice hada. It is clay-tempered and hazuya-polished to highlight the beautiful, natural hamon. The blade has a detailed, hand-engraved dragon horimono. The hourglass-shaped tsuka core is made of white hardwood and fully-wrapped with black-lacquered samegawa. The habaki is made of copper with a kanji engraving while the fuchi and kashira are made of blackened iron. The saya is made of hardwood with a unique oar-shaped tip and with a mitsudomoe design. Fuchi, kashira, koiguchi, kurigata, kojiri and Kaeritsuno are all made of real buffalo horns.

O-Kissaki Katana Clay Tempered 1095 Carbon Steel Heavy Cutting--Ryan1335
$330.00Ryan1335 is a beautiful blade with a deep koshi sori curve and shinogi zukuri geometry. The blade is made of differentially-hardened 1095 steel with no bo-hi and designed for heavy targets. The sori is 2.8cm at the deepest point and the very appealing kissaki measures 5.5 cm.
The tsuba, fuchi, kashira are all made of iron. The seppa and habaki are made of brass but chromed to give it a silvery appearance. The tsuka is made of hardwood fully-wrapped with black, real rayskin and reinforced with cotton ito. The saya is made of brown hardwood partially-covered with white rayskin and then painted over with clear lacquer to show the very attractive wood grains. The koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri are made of polished buffalo horn.

$239.00The tanto or short sword is a Japanese blade used by the samurai class of feudal Japan. It dates back to the Heian period and was mainly designed for stabbing but can be used for close quarter slashing. Women would sometimes carry a tanto concealed in their sash or obi for self-defense.
This tanto has big kissaki, the blade is honsanmai structure and clay tempered. Its saya and tsuka is covered in polished mother-of-pearl and shells and give a unique glow of random colors. The kashira, fuchi, koiguchi and kojiri is made of polished, black buffalo horn.

$569.00Tachi is a Japanese blade worn by the samurai class and came to prominence during the Koto Period (900-1596 AD). The tachi is a predecessor of the katana and differs from the katana in terms of blade geometry and mountings. The tachi has greater blade curvature and more tapered from the hilt (kasane) to the tip (sakikasane). It was worn horizontally through hangers called ashi and with the cutting edge down.
This tachi is made of differentially heat-treated folded 1095 high carbon steel with a beautiful notare or wave hamon. The saya is fully-wrapped in genuine, polished rayskin and then laquered to give it a smooth, shiny finish. The tsuka is hardwood and wrapped with genuine white rayskin. The ito is black, synthetic silk. The sageo or cord wrapping on the ashi is also black synthetic silk. The kabuto-gane, menuki, fuchi, koiguchi, ashi, semegane and sayajiri are all made of copper.

$230.00Ryan1322 is a katana with a shinogi zukurigeometry. Its blade is made of folded 1095 high carbon steel. The blade has no groove and the folding of the blade during forging produces a very distinct and beautiful raindrop pattern. This is different from the appearance of the usual folded steel which has a wavy hada. The hada on this blade looks like irregularly-shaped ripples.
The tsuka is made of hardwood wrapped with red, rayskin panels and black synthetic silk ito. The red saya is hardwood with grooves and has a buffalo horn koiguchi and black-brown sageo.

$519.00Dao refers to a variety of single-edged swords common throughout Chinese history and is one of the four traditional weapons together with the staff (gun), spear (qiang) and the double-edged sword (jian). The dao has many variants which evolved throughout the various dynastic rule in China with e#ach variant suited for the intended battlefield use. The style of dao which proliferated during the Tang Dynasty (7th - 10th century A.D.) was a sword which was straight along blade's entire length.
